I can choose my own day of worship.

I can worship God my way.

I can participate in the holidays of men, I just put a “holy” spin on it.

I am free in Christ therefore I am saved.

I am forgiven from my past, present and future sins.

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. Proverbs 21:2

Beware of these thoughts and remember there is only one God and one truth. The mercy and grace found in Jesus gave us the opportunity to serve our God, not to do our own pleasures and still be saved.

There is freedom from Moses’ Law but God’s Law never changed.

Jesus says very plainly in Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Romans 3:31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

Act 6:14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

What is Jesus changing? The customs of Moses not the Laws of God!

Consider,
Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The world thinks they changed things like marriage and the holy seventh day of God. But take caution for God does not change.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Psa 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Num 23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. (For example, the seventh day was blessed who are we to say it is finished?)

For another reason, we are supposed to be one. If someone goes to church on Sunday but another goes on Saturday, if a person celebrate Christmas, but another believe it to be against God. Only one is right. There is no compromise of the Truth. As the Bible says, two will be in the field but only one taken… we live in a world that accepts compromise but wake up… our God is not of this world, God will destroy this world.

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Philippians 1:27 … stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

So where have you put your trust? In men that say “as long as you believe Jesus saves you will be saved”? Look at the scriptures; seek out the truth with fear and trembling. Jesus gave us the freedom to search, the time and forgiveness to seek God. But the Truth is more than saying you believe. To believe is to make changes in yourself to separate the flesh from the spirit.

Romans 6:14-16 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Do not be trapped in the lies of the world. Revelation speaks of seven churches. They thought they did well… but woe to them for they took it upon themselves to live according to their desires. We are free from the bondage of the flesh, the laws of man. We have freedom in serving our God, but it is not up to us how to serve God. God has asked obedience and from the beginning had laid out His desire.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

I can choose to follow the commands of God
I can worship God His way
I can reject the traditions of men to honour the commands of God
I am free in Christ therefore I do not have to answer to man but I answer to my God.
I am forgiven for my past sins if I repent. I must move forward and strive for that perfect love that will make me good and acceptable to God.
